Nissan Patrol SVE 2006

I have owned a Patrol in Antigua while selling land, it was the only car that could cope with the tough off road conditions after days of rain particularly on the 1:2 muddy slopes I had to climb. When I returned to the UK I purchased a new SVE Patrol and have never been dissapointed since. It has been a great car to own and has always started with no major mechanical issues except: front seat has broken 3 times (under seat height adjustment brackets), fuel pump blocked, but all issues were quickly dealt with by Nissan (KJM Reading) under warranty. It’s a shame the Patrol is now not a UK option as my vehicle now needs to be traded in and I dont really like the new Pathfinder. I contacted Nissan UK this week who emailed me a short one line response saying the Patrol was no longer an option, but showed now interest in retaining my business or suggesting another model. I have looked at the new L200 and will probably become a Mitsubishi driver soon. I will miss the Patrol, it is definitely the King of all 4x4’s and it’s really great when driving in front or behind of any other 4x4 ’cos their drivers know it too!
