Good sized, but rather ugly, estate car, has loads and loads of extras. I really love the clever, fully automatic dual climate control system and the massive glass, slide back roof, together with the instant trip computer information it gives you. Economy is good at between 45 and 60 mpg, depending on what you’re doing and how carefully you’re trying. It’s a Fiat and I hear a lot of people mutter about possible future reliability problems. I’ve had one or two issues in the 2 years and 30,000 miles of ownership, but nothing major. My biggest hate are the silly, very wide, 17 inch low profile, alloy shod, tyres that this version comes with. It gives a choppy, tyre noisy ride. This car is never going to be a handler, so why did Fiat bother? Am tempted to fit ’normal’ tyres and steel wheels instead. I find that sometimes the engine can feel like it’s coking up when underway, even on a motorway, where I have to dip the clutch, floor the accelerator and let its revs chuggingly increase until it clears itself, leaving behind a black smoke cloud, then it’s fine for another hour or three.
