Which one next was the question, especially having owned and driven all previous modern variants of TVR from S3 to Cerbera. The line-up on offer was Tamora, Tuscan 2 and 350C, one after the other. Apparently Clarkson had made a slight mess of the targa top of the Tuscan, after struggling to get it to fit when he had tested it earlier in the week, so I was to ignore the whistling. They were right enough when the factory had said that they had tamed the driving experience of the new Tuscan, as it was relatively uninvolving and easy to live with but still as fast. The Tamora, as usual was more exciting but the 350C blew me away. What a different experience altogether; "I want one, I want one" was all I could say as I blasted past a line of cars with still tons of throttle push to deliver. Even on the windier roads, with some heel and toe blips of the throttle and a snarl from the exhaust was tremendous fun. This car has a raw edge that the others don’t have and is similar in comparison between a Chimaera and a Griffith, the Chimaera being the softer and less invigourating drive. You know you want one and you will not be in the least disappointed, believe me. It’s like the Griffith; drive 350mls only stopping to re-fuel and you just want to get back in and keep on driving it. No other car grabs you by the b***s like this one.

Outstanding looks and performance. Surprisingly comfortable on long motorway runs and well mannered around town. Good sized boot for weekends away. Aircon is a must and works pretty well too. Hardly any misbehaviour in handling, except on very slippery roads. Brilliant track day car, that out runs and out breaks the earlier TVRs. Blistering acceleration, the revs seem to climb and climb until your eyes water! A sports exhaust is the one extra I added, a car like the T350 wants to make an announcement.
