Peugeot 307 SW envy estate 2004

A good all round car. I’ve owned for mine for 4 weeks and a clunking, creaking, rattling noise from under the bonnet is the only fault so far. Depends on how smooth one drives. Any ideas?

Very nice car to drive but unreliable and costly! Had it for 9 months and so far flywheel failed, egr valve failed, injector seals leaked and particulate filter failed - costing a total of about £1000. It’s a good job I’m a mechanic or it would have been double. I used to love Peugeot diesels but not now.

A nice car, reliable and fairly quick once your up to forty miles per hour. Like all cars, not good value for money when bought new but a great buy second hand. I bought mine new and it’s been A1, no problems at all and totally reliable. At four years old I’ve still only covered 16,000 miles so its really not even broken in yet. I like Peugeot’s and I’d certainly buy another one but I intend keeping this one for a good while yet.
