The Vauxhall Corsa has confident styling, masses of space and clever attention to detail, inside and out. A choice of petrol or diesel together with its dynamic chassis makes it fun to drive – wherever it takes you.

The biggest load of rubbish I have ever owned. Only 23000miles on clock yet Oil leaks from the engine, which garage cannot trace the reason for. It gives 38 mpg if you are lucky. Leaks 5 pints a month, burns 1 pint per 1000 miles. The clock refuses to work. The driver’s seat is difficult to move except when you are driving along, when it decides to move under its own power. I will never touch another Corsa, I have seen better rubbish at our local tip. I would have given it ’no stars’ but the lowest score is 1.

I bought this lovely little 1.0 12v Corsa Twinport for my Xmas present on 15 Dec 2008. Previously, I had a beloved old P reg Fiesta. It had blown up on the M42 motorway the week before (my fault, didn't service the poor car!!), so when the chance came up to buy a 2004 Corsa, I couldn't turn it down! I had an R reg diesel Corsa, a diesel dog, it was so slow, but a good ride; I part-exchanged it for the 04 Corsa. This little Corsa is a revelation, it drives like a dream, it is economical and cosy. The best features are the gorgeous alloy wheels, its brilliant tiny turning circle, its economical 1.0 12v engine, and low road tax. I couldn't believe the drive quality, the Corsa is a bit skitterish over rubbish road services and surprisingly very fast for a 1.0 litre. The drive quality is good and decent for such a small engine. The Corsa drove very well to central London and back in Feb 09, it drove like a dream. Even the Aston Martin DB9 Cabrio that tried to race me on the M1 past London couldn't beat my little Corsa!! Ha ha!! The only complaint is that it is quite a light car; it should be a little heavier to cope with the rubbish road surfaces. And it's got a bigger tank than the Fiesta, so it needs a service now. I like the Corsa. It has pas, e/w, c/l, gets admiring glances wherever I go. And its economical, I bought another car, a 1.0 Micra 2002 52 plate; it is a gorgeous little car, so the Corsa is up for sale, offers over £2200 please.

I would give it 0 but 1 is the lowest. This car is the WORST car I have ever owned and I have only owned 2. At 35,000 miles, a valve fell into the engine and was wrecked. This happened while going 60 mph in 5th gear. Vauxhall didn’t care because the car was 9 months out of warranty. This car was FULLY maintained at Vauxhall and as they don’t care, they build these cars to fall apart just as the warranty runs out. I would advise against ANY Vauxhall vehicle as they are badly built and their dealerships are the most unhelpful people you could ever meet. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I just purchased my car on Thursday and it is a great drive but I do have problems with the front and back wipers. Apart from that there are no regrets. I wish I had purchased one sooner even though i had always loved my Volkswagen Polo.
