I do 25,000 miles a year. I transferred from a 2.5 ltr gas guzzler when petrol went through £1 per litre. At first I was a little dubious about the switch, but after six months and 12,000 miles, I think the car is marvellous. It's the only 1 litre car that you can get a full stack of golf clubs and trolley in the boot. It has four doors and loads of room inside. I managed to get a double mattress in it to take to the charity shop! Service intervals of 20K miles, cheap insurance, cheap to run with even cheaper fuel bills (45 miles to the gallon) I save at least £50 per week! It pootles along quite happily at 70-80 mph. Once you get over the looks, it's incredible.

I love my Agila; this is my second one, good space inside, good access (Disabled wife) room for shopping scooter. Try one before you buy a great big 4x4 for the school run! "High up" stance, good eye height, pleasant to drive, styling always gives me a smile! 1.2 is better engine for longer distances; mine is hardly ever used as a town car. Only downside is 40 mpg - needs to be a diesel. �4000 for a 9000 miler from local Vauxhall Dealer.
