My ’03 3.2S hasn’t missed a beat in eighteen months/13,000 miles of ownership. A recent 2,300 mile tour of Scotland gave an indicated 37.2 mpg. While that may not impress owners of small cars, I was staggered! One thing I’m not impressed with is the brakes. The large vented discs and red callipers may look great but they certainly don’t feel it. Normal driving is fine... but jump on the brakes and the pedal feels very spongy. Repeated heavy braking quickly leads to bad fade. I certainly won’t be using the Boxster for track days without an upgrade.
