This my second SW (Peugeot 307 SW - 1.6 Petrol. Automatic 2003), my first was a Mitsubishi. Bought it second hand for 6000 US$. My family loved the glass roof, the comfortable seats and the versatility, So far so good, because at 110,000 Kms, (August, 2010) the car’s had no faults at all except the airbag light is always on at the dashboard. Fun to drive, flexible torque engine. Fantastic on fuel. Handles well enough. I have changed the brake disks and pads and the engine’s timing belt for security reasons and the car now is used as a Taxi. After 2900 Kms in 5 weeks of work there is no faults at all. Fuel consumption is around 175 Kms per 20 liters (City and mountain roads with 5 passengers ) ... overall. If the car is driven moderately and with care I think will live for another 200,000 Kms without any mechanical problems.

Got this car about 6 weeks ago, wish I never got it. Hard to start in morning but fine the rest of the day. ABS light came on, one of the sensors has gone, then the left electric door window opens when it wants to, mostly the second time I start the car up. The indictators work but when you turn the corner they indicate the other way and you need to turn them off, the horn works, just, and sometimes not at all and to round it all off I think I need a new electric window driver side panel to control the windows, it doesn’t work like it should. The passager side window goes down but not back up, unless you use the panel on the passager side and it has low MPG for a diesel, Grrrr. I expect cars get faults, but not this many. The worse car ever. I wouldnt mind, I like the look of the car, that’s why I got it. Now I’d get a Ford or something that you know is going to work.
