Audi’s A4 Avant possesses all quality of the A4 Saloon, but with more space and load-carrying ability and can easily accommodate everyone in style. The Audi A4 Avant delivers everyday exhilaration together with precision handling making for an exciting drive. With sleek operating systems, acoustic parking and Xenon Plus headlights as standard; the Audi A4 Avant is a sheer pleasure to drive.

Audi A4 Avant 1.9 TDi multitronic 2003

This car is everything I ever wanted in a car BUT five months into owning it, the gearbox had to be replaced. It’s been great ever since... until now... yes, another serious gearbox fault, at the cost of nearly £1300, not what you expect from a quality car, four years old with 36,000 miles on the clock. I didn’t want to part with this car but now I’m wondering whether I should get rid before it costs me more than it’s worth. Full marks to the Audi garage though, a no quibble courtesy car for as long as it takes to repair it.
