Nissan Navara 2003

Bought this brand new in 2003. I thought it was the nuts... then joining M25 from M26 at junction 7 one morning - without warning there was a huge plume of black smoke form the exhaust. I limped the truck to the hard shoulder and called the garage although the vehicle was still under warranty they would NOT recover me or the truck, ABSOLUTE shambles - this was at 25,000 miles and 2 years old. The problem was injectors and turbo (replaced under warranty). Then at 55,000 miles the engine let go big time I managed to catch it before the conrods came through the block (apparently it is unusual to save the block). So in it went for a engine rebuild, I have to say at this point Nissan wanted what would have worked out to be £5,000 plus to replace the engine. It then covered another 4,000 miles and the crank let go, fortunately the guy that did the engine is a friend and it got rebuilt under warranty. It is now 2 years on and the engine has gone again at 75,000 miles, I can’t afford to spend any more money on this pile of crap so its being broken for spares. Oh and £300 for a throttle sensor... you are joking. FYI the new model engines are almost identical DO NOT BUY A NAVARA. I love the truck but the engine is s**t and Nissan customer service is non existent.
