Nissan Patrol reviews by year of make: 2002 2006 Read all reviews
The Nissan Patrol comes with a impressive CV including Dakar Rally victories yet can boast the level of comfort usually reserved for executive estate cars. Able to eat up the toughest terrain the Patrol is equally at home on the road and offers the civilised choice in 4x4.

I keep my 2002 Patrol in the low veld of S. Africa and have done 169,000 kilometres of trouble free game viewing / roof top camping. My Patrol is set up with twin fuel tanks and duel cooling systems. UK reviews are all based on motorways and school runs whereas the Patrol is designed as an off road tank that will get you home when the road runs out. I pull Discoveries and Range Rovers out of riverbeds when their electric brains cook after getting wet. Why place a computer under the drivers seat? In Africa the refer to the Landy camp as Sollyhulls revenge on the earth! I will buy another Partol or the Toyota Model 70 which is still designed for Australia and Africa hard terrain. All in all a great vehicle. Why do you think the UN use them?
