Bought my Clio grande in 2002 when it had been used as a courtesy car for 6 months from new. It had 5,000 miles on the clock. Now 8 years later, it has 46,000 mileage and I’m thinking of trading it in for another Clio. It’s only let me down once, and that was only because it needed a new battery. Apart from an odd new tyre and windscreen wiper, it’s cost me nothing in repairs. Great little car, very reliable and economical. I just hope my next one will serve me as well!

The car is ok but it does have its faults like the rear leg room is none existant. God knows why it’s in insurance group 10 because it does not feel like a sport with a speed of 100mph tops. Things to look for when buying: Check all eletrics! Checks all around drive shafts for grease, On the test drive listen for any knocks from c.v.

Good car, just a pity about some of the components that they used to make it with. I.e. the exhaust and electric window motors seem to fail after a few years. Other than that a good little car.
